We had a really fun week.  We learned to eat real food!  Then we all got lion trims!  It was a little scary going outside to play but now we like it.  There are still some of us available to approved homes.  If you like us send Mom an email and tell her about your family.  

The puppies are doing wonderful!   I have started feeding them kefir about four times a day.  They seem happier.  They were ready to eat.   Wynnie is the best Mom.

Well most of them do.  Sadly we lost Hermit last week.  The others are doing wonderful!  They are walking all over the box. Male puppies available to approved homes.

I can't believe a week has gone by so fast.  The puppies are crawling around the box and making the cutest little noises.  It will be another week before their eyes open.  I can hardly wait.

The puppies are doing very well so far.  Here are there names by collar color.  The girls are:  Coral:peach, Urchin:lime green, Nettle: hot pink, Minnow: aqua and Pebble: purple.
The boys are Barnacle: brown, Oyster:green, Tar: light blue,
Quahog: orange, Nautilus: red, Hermit: white, and Scallop: Yellow.  

Yesterday Wynnie gave birth to thirteen beautiful black wavy puppies.  Eight boys and five girls.  Tori has taken over the job of head doula.  I am very grateful to George Govette of Clone Inc for making this happen.  Wynnie was bred to AM CAN CH Scrimshaw's Vilor Beachcomber.  Virgil is no longer with us.  The semen was frozen fifteen years ago.   This litter has been planned for three years.

I took Wynnie for an x-ray today and we saw thirteen puppies.   The x-ray was hard to read so there could be one or two hiding.   The vet feels due to her large size she is more likely to deliver on Wednesday.  I can't wait to see them!  They should all be black wavy with some white markings.

Yesterday Rainbow hatched a new batch of ducklings.  They are just too cute.  It looks like they are mostly brown pied and brown bibbed.  I also see a black.  It doesn't look like there are any blues this time.
